InvestEngine business referral: £100–£400 bonus for eligible companies
The same invitation supports personal and Business accounts. For a company, check eligibility, company funding and the LEI requirement before investing. Capital at risk.
Updated
Open the x907sk invitation before registering and choose Business. Complete company/applicant checks and provide any existing active LEI. Fund from your linked company bank; if needed, await the free first-year LEI, then invest at least £100 and claim when prompted. Hold the required funding and reward for 12 months from receipt.
T&Cs apply · Referral link — we may receive a reward if you sign up.
Which link works for the Business bonus?
Use https://referral-links.uk/r/investengine. It opens https://investengine.com/referral/u/x907sk/, which offers both Individual and Business signup routes. Choose Business before registering. There is no separate business promo code to invent or add later.
This referral can benefit both parties. The figures on this page describe the new customer’s reward. For a personal ISA, GIA or SIPP, use the personal InvestEngine referral page instead.
Business versus personal referral: the key differences
| Requirement | Business account | Personal account |
|---|---|---|
| Random referral reward | £100–£400 | £20–£200 |
| Qualifying investment | At least £100 | At least £100 |
| Account holder | An eligible UK company | An eligible individual |
| Funding | Linked company bank account | Linked personal bank account |
| LEI | Active LEI required | No company LEI requirement |
| Reward hold | £100 plus reward for 12 months from reward receipt | |
The Business reward is not a cash saving on a purchase or a guaranteed investment return. Investments can lose value.
Does my company qualify?
InvestEngine’s detailed eligibility help supports UK private limited companies and LLPs, subject to its checks. Companies House details must be current and in good standing, and the business needs a UK bank account in the company’s name. A UK-based director or person with significant control must meet the applicant requirements; disclose beneficial owners holding 25% or more.
Sole traders and ordinary partnerships are excluded, along with PLCs, trusts, charities, non-UK entities, special-purpose vehicles and businesses holding assets for others. US-citizen directors/PSCs are excluded; signup also excludes US tax residency. Confirm the permitted applicant for an LLP directly in InvestEngine’s application guidance.
Read the complete company eligibility checklist. Do not assume that incorporation alone guarantees approval.
How do I claim the £100–£400 business reward?
- Open the referral invitation before creating an account and select Business.
- Complete company and applicant checks, and provide any existing active LEI. Provide requested documents directly to InvestEngine.
- Fund the portfolio from your linked company bank account. If you need InvestEngine’s free first-year LEI, await its arrangement after £100 funding before trading. On DIY, place the buy order or use AutoInvest: cash waiting in the account is not invested.
- Invest at least £100, then use the claim notification when it appears. The random reward is generated when you claim.
- Keep the required £100 net investment funding plus the referral reward invested for 12 months from reward receipt. Early withdrawal can cause the reward to be reclaimed.
Claiming and crediting are separate. Terms aim to credit within two business days, but allow five or more; contact InvestEngine if it remains missing after five. These timings are not a guarantee.
What does the company LEI cost?
An active Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is required for a Business account. If you already have one, provide it during registration. Otherwise, InvestEngine says it arranges the first year free, usually within two to three business days after £100 funding.
From year two, renew it independently or InvestEngine can arrange renewal for £45, with an email before charging. The first-year benefit does not make the LEI permanently free. Keep it active to avoid trading restrictions. Current LEI requirements and renewal costs.
Is £400 likely or guaranteed?
No. Current Business referral terms put 75% of rewards in the £100–£120 band and 2% in the £350–£400 band. The actual distribution may vary. Use the lower end when comparing the offer; the exact reward is revealed when claimed.
The programme only rewards the referrer’s first 25 referrals; subsequent referrals reward neither party. A working invitation does not prove remaining capacity. Read the Referral Program section of the current terms.
Which fees still apply?
The Business account fee and DIY management fee are £0. Managed/LifePlan portfolios have a 0.25% annual management fee. ETF ongoing charges and market spreads still apply; the LEI renewal is separate. InvestEngine’s current costs.
This is a company investment account, not a personal ISA. Check suitability for the company’s cash needs and obtain advice where needed before investing; do not fund it solely to chase a random reward.
Company investment bonus or purchase cashback?
An investment referral bonus differs from rewards on business card spending. The limited company cashback guide explains purchase-reward calculations; Capital on Tap’s company eligibility guide covers a different product and application. Their eligibility and qualifying actions are independent.
Sources and review scope
Reviewed 9 October 2026. The exact invitation displayed both reward ranges and offered a Business signup choice. Referral terms, document requirements, funding help, company eligibility, LEI help and current costs support this guide. Current incentive terms take precedence over older amounts still appearing in generic Business FAQs. No company account, investment, reward claim or remaining-capacity check was completed.
