Of these three suppliers’ recorded home offers, Fuse has the largest face value at £100 bill credit. Octopus’s household reward is £50 account credit; E.ON Next’s checked invitation gives a £50 retail voucher. The £75 Octopus business offer belongs to a different account type. A bigger reward does not necessarily mean a cheaper energy contract.
Is an energy referral code the same as a discount code?
These offers provide a one-off reward after qualifying. They do not reduce every unit of energy you buy. Compare the unit rate, standing charge, expected annual cost and any exit fee before choosing a supplier. If one quote costs £80 more over a year, £50 credit still leaves it £30 more expensive.
Can I use a comparison website and add a referral afterwards?
The checked Octopus, Fuse and E.ON Next routes require direct sign-up. Start from the relevant invitation, or enter the Fuse code during direct onboarding. Do not assume a referral can be added to a switch started elsewhere. E.ON Next also needs the same email for its referral registration and energy account.
What if I want an Octopus business referral?
Open the £75 business offer and use the business postcode form on the invitation. The code is still cyan-camel-906. A charity switching its own eligible energy account uses the business reward; community fundraising is a separate scheme.
