How to Claim the £100 Fuse Energy Credit
Use the direct Fuse sign-up route rather than a price-comparison website, because comparison-site switches do not qualify for referral credit.
- Step 1: Open the Fuse Energy app or web sign-up page from the button above
- Step 2: Enter your postcode, select your address and compare the quoted tariff with your current supplier
- Step 3: Create a new Fuse account and enter referral code YPZHQU26729 when prompted
- Step 4: Switch at least one eligible supply — import electricity, gas or both
- Step 5: Let the supply go live and pay your first full month's Fuse bill in full by its due date
- Step 6: Fuse applies the £100 credit against subsequent energy bills until it is used
Important Terms
Fuse's official referral terms, last updated 10 August 2026, set the controlling conditions:
- You must be a new Fuse customer and must not have held a previous Fuse Energy contract
- Join directly with Fuse using the referral code; a switch started through a price-comparison website is excluded
- Import electricity, gas or both qualifies; an electricity-export-only supply does not
- Pay the first full month of energy supply in full by the bill's due date
- The referrer's Fuse account must have a zero or positive balance when eligibility is assessed
- The £100 is bill credit, not cash, and is applied against subsequent bills until used
- If you apply for more than one promotion, Fuse may award only one credit
Fuse says campaign periods are communicated in its app. The owner-supplied code was current at this September rollover, and recent live campaign confirmations consistently show an 18 September 2026 sign-up deadline. Check the date shown in the Fuse app before committing to the switch because Fuse can amend or end a campaign.
How much is the Fuse Energy referral bonus?
£100 each. The new customer receives £100 of Fuse bill credit and the existing customer who supplied the referral code receives another £100. The amount is the same whether you switch eligible import electricity only, gas only, or both fuels.
When does Fuse pay the £100 referral credit?
After the new customer's supply is live and they have paid the first full month's Fuse bill in full and on time. Fuse shows a reward as pending while it waits for that first bill. Once approved, the credit offsets later energy charges until the full £100 is used.
Can I use a Fuse referral code after joining through a comparison site?
No. Fuse's official terms exclude customers who switched through a price-comparison website. Start the quote and switch directly in the Fuse app or on Fuse's website, and enter YPZHQU26729 during sign-up.
Does electricity export qualify for the Fuse referral reward?
Not by itself. Fuse defines an eligible supply as import electricity or gas. A Smart Export Guarantee or other electricity-export supply does not count, although you can still qualify if you also switch an eligible import supply.
Is Fuse Energy regulated?
Yes. Fuse Energy Supply Limited appears on Ofgem's electricity supply licensee list, and Ofgem granted it a gas supply licence effective 22 November 2024. As with any switch, compare the full tariff, standing charge, exit fees and estimated annual cost before signing up.
