What is SimplyCook?
SimplyCook is a UK recipe-kit subscription for people who want to cook with their own fresh ingredients. Each box contains four recipe kits with pre-measured flavour ingredients, such as pastes, stocks and spice blends, plus recipe cards. Unlike a full fresh-ingredient recipe box, you supply the meat, vegetables and other staples. Its official FAQ says kits serve two to four people depending on the recipe and portion size.

Is the SimplyCook trial really free, including postage?
Checked 11 October 2026: this exact invitation advertises a free trial with free postage. The recipe-selection basket showed the first box, delivery and total as FREE. The fresh ingredients you add are not included and must be bought separately. We stopped before account registration, payment or ordering; this is not a completed redemption test.
What does SimplyCook cost after the free box?
The checked invitation quotes a monthly box of four recipe kits at £10.99 plus £1.99 postage, £12.98 in total. This is its displayed monthly example, not a promise for every subscription frequency. The referral share message says the trial is worth £9.99, but the live basket shows £10.99 before the free discount; we use the live price rather than the older valuation.
The subscription continues at full price after the introductory offer until you cancel. Check your selected plan, next payment date and current charges before completing the order. Skipping or delaying a box is not the same as cancelling: billing resumes afterwards.
Who can use the SimplyCook referral offer?
The published terms restrict introductory offers to new users, once per person and household, and require valid payment details. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
