Does the referral work for a Stocks & Shares ISA or Cash ISA?
The live UK invitation lists Invest and Stocks & Shares ISA accounts. A Cash ISA on its own does not qualify for this free-share offer; CFD and Crypto accounts are also excluded. If you already hold a different account type, check your promotion eligibility before opening another account.
When can I sell the free share and withdraw the money?
Trading 212’s current campaign help says the reward is normally allocated within 3 business days of meeting the requirements. You can sell the share once received, but the reward’s cash value is locked for 30 days. Share prices can rise or fall.
The linked referral terms also allow rewards to be reclaimed if qualifying steps are reversed, including closing the account or withdrawing all deposited funds within 7 days after reward allocation. Check the lock-up date and conditions in your account before withdrawing.
When does the Trading 212 invite a friend campaign end?
Trading 212’s campaign help currently lists 21 September–3 November 2026. The live invitation showed roughly 42 days remaining when checked on 21 September. Use the invitation’s countdown and the terms shown in your app for the exact closing time; campaigns can change.
Does the referral link stop working after five people?
No. Trading 212’s official help says the referrer can receive five rewards per campaign, while eligible new customers can continue receiving their joining rewards through that link. The five-reward limit is not a five-click limit.
