What is the current Lebara referral offer?
Checked 5 September 2026: the Back to School promotion gives new customers 30GB for £5 per month for four months, then £10, on the 30-day rolling plan. That is £20 saved during the promotional period. Most other listed referral plans have three discounted months.
Lebara uses Vodafone’s UK 4G and 5G network. The offer comes through the referral link; there is no separate referral code to type. Your joining benefit is the plan discount. We may receive a separate cash reward if the referral qualifies, so both sides benefit.
Lebara 30-day rolling referral plans
These plans renew every 30 days. The four-month promotion applies to the 30GB rolling plan only. Prices shown on the referral selector on 5 September 2026:

How to claim the Lebara referral discount
- Open our referral link before selecting a plan.
- Choose one of the SIM-only plans listed in the referral journey and check whether it is 30-day rolling or a 12-month commitment.
- Confirm the discounted price, number of discounted months and ongoing price before paying.
- Buy the plan with the SIM in the same journey. Ordering only a free SIM and buying a plan separately later does not qualify for the referral programme.
- Activate your SIM within 30 days of the order date to retain your chosen plan and promotion.
Is this a Lebara promo code or referral link?
It is a referral link. You do not need to enter the letters in the short URL as a voucher code. Follow the link to see the referral plans and confirm the offer before paying. Other public or comparison-site promotions can differ, so compare the full cost and data allowance; this page does not claim to be the cheapest offer available everywhere.
Are all calls unlimited?
No. The 5GB plan shows 1,000 UK minutes and texts; the larger plans show unlimited UK minutes and texts. International allowances vary: 100 minutes on 5GB and 30GB, 500 on 50GB, unlimited on 100GB, 100 on Unlimited Data and unlimited on Unlimited Plus. Check the included countries and any fair-use terms for your chosen plan. Unlimited mobile data does not automatically mean unlimited international calls.
Does Lebara have a contract?
The referral selector offers both 30-day rolling plans and 12-month plans. Choose the rolling option if you want to avoid a 12-month commitment, and check renewal and cancellation terms. After the promotional months, the ongoing price in the relevant table applies. The current 30GB rolling special lasts four months; the 12-month 30GB offer lasts three.
Can I keep my number?
Yes. Request a PAC from your current network and follow Lebara’s number-transfer instructions. Check any remaining charges with your old provider separately from the new SIM discount.
What about coverage and roaming?
Lebara runs on Vodafone’s UK network. Check coverage where you use your phone rather than assuming every location has 5G. The referral cards include EU roaming with a 30GB fair-use data limit; the plan’s own data allowance and destination rules still apply. Confirm the current roaming details before travelling.
What makes a referral qualify?
Lebara’s referrer FAQ requires SIM activation and use for two consecutive months, with two consecutive payments within 60 days of activation. Cancelling within 60 days prevents the referral from qualifying. Buying an unlisted plan or a free SIM without its plan also does not qualify. These reward-validation conditions are separate from the promotional price shown to the new customer.
Can I use this Lebara referral with an eSIM?
The 5GB checkout checked on 10 September 2026 offered eSIM through a question asking whether the plan was for an iPhone Air. Follow the SIM-type options for your actual phone. Lebara’s current eSIM help also limits new-customer eSIM purchases to iPhone Air; existing-customer migration is a separate route.
If you are travelling soon, the same help page says the included Roam Like Home data in the EU and India is blocked for the first seven days after eSIM activation. Check this timing before relying on the included roaming allowance.
Offer checks and sources
Checked 5 September 2026 against Lebara’s Refer and Earn page and FAQs, the referral plan selector and the referrer dashboard. The generic page still mentions three months in places; the four-month special is specific to 30GB rolling. No purchase or completed referral was performed during this check. Always confirm the live plan price before paying.
Scoped check on 10 September 2026: the referral selector still matched the rolling-plan prices above. The 5GB pre-payment flow showed £2.50 for three months and the iPhone Air SIM-type question. No device choice, personal details or payment was submitted; other device routes and the 12-month plans were not rechecked.
Lebara’s activation deadline guidance and eSIM help were also read on 10 September. These support the activation and roaming timing above; no eSIM activation or completed referral was tested.
