Current Xe referral terms and qualifying transfers

Checked 10 September 2026: the UK and Europe referral terms in Xe’s Help Centre now agree with the help article on the main amounts: £50 after £5,000 for the UK and €50 after €5,000 for Europe. The old amount discrepancy is no longer present in those terms.

The qualifying total can span several transfers, but the money must be accepted by Xe and paid to the recipient. The gift card has no cash alternative. Xe’s help article says to allow 14 working days for email delivery; the regional terms describe an aim of 10 working days, subject to verification.

What is Xe Money Transfer?

Xe is an international money-transfer and currency-information service with more than 30 years of currency experience. It is part of Euronet Worldwide and offers app and online transfers between countries, with the exchange rate and fees shown before you confirm.

This referral is aimed at people already planning a substantial international transfer. Compare Xe's final recipient amount with alternatives before sending: the £50 gift card may not outweigh a weaker exchange rate or higher fee on a £5,000 transfer.

Does the £5,000 have to be sent in one transfer?

No. Xe's current help article says you can make multiple transfers that total £5,000 or the relevant currency equivalent. Enter XEREF-PLD7TNB4 only once, when making your first transfer; Xe then links later qualifying transfers to that referral.

Can customers in Germany use this Xe referral code?

Germany is listed in Xe’s supported countries. The Help Centre’s European terms and referral guide both show a €50 gift card after €5,000 in qualifying transfers. Confirm the offer shown in your account and enter the code on the first transfer.

What happens if I forget the Xe promo code on my first transfer?

Xe says the referral reward will not qualify if the new customer does not enter the promo code when making their first transfer. Use XEREF-PLD7TNB4 before confirming that transfer; the generic download link by itself does not contain the code.

When will the Xe gift card arrive?

Xe says both rewards are sent by email within 14 working days after the qualifying transfer total has been sent. Check your spam folder first if it does not arrive, then contact Xe with the names and email addresses on both accounts and the date of the qualifying transfer.
